I use Skype daily. It's a lot easier to just hold a voice conversation while working instead of stopping to type back and forth.

Skype sucked a few years ago...

Now it's awesome... just incredible... the quality is better than a cel phone

I use skype. It's great. Trillian I only use for ICQ, cause I hate the real ICQ. I have had some problems with it too. I was pro but since upgrade I am basic. Don't use it enough to care, but it's definetly flakey.

yeah, their shit is going down hill.

they cant keep up with the security updates from the different clients.

Tried Trillian 3.0 some weeks ago but didn't liked it so back to good-old-adheaven-icq..

As for Skype a few friends of mine keep mentioning it...

i use both, trillian is ok its a pitty it has an huge lack of decent features but its a lot more stable than icq

I've been using Trillian Pro 3.0 since it came out and find it super stable. It's way easier than having Yahoo, MSN, and ICQ open at the same time, with all the banners and crap they have. I haven't tried SKype.

Haven't tried Skype, but Trillian 3 is running like a charm... so much better and more stable than anything else.

I use both of them, after using trillian, I dont think I could ever go back to using 4 different (crappy) messaging clients at once.
