    Which Is the More Important Holiday - Martin Luther King Day or Groundhog Day?

    i have nothing but mad respect and much love for my black bruthas and sistas BUT i've gotta go with Groundhog Day over Martin Luther King Day. Groundhogs have been in America alot longer than black people.

    You may feel differently, that's fine, just be prepared to back up your answer.

    i have to agree with you in some weird way. 6 more weeks of winter means the possibility that i have to go out and shovel, which is annoying. mlk day really has nothing to do with me except the mail not being delivered (which may be good since i wouldn't get bills that day)

    same can be said for washingtons bday!

        well Mr ML King is dead and if that damn groundhog see's his shadow like he just did it means more freaking cold weather. So it's not hard to figure out.. That goes for any other dead guy days too, before you call me a hater.
