wow, I haven't heard that much bad stuff about Verotel. I use them and they've never missed a payment since day one. There's a lot of paysites that use them since ccbill won't approve sites of certain content and genres. IT's not because ppl want to use Verotel; sometimes there's not many choices.

Mmmm.. Verotel are an ex audiotext company where scamming habits die hard. I thought for a short while they managed to kill the crooked way of behaving, but obviously not. The principals operated other businesses and did the webmaster shows, tho what for, hell knows, - their reputation was known.
I know two webmasters near me who are just about to sign up with Verotel.. I'll pass on the background! Thank you!

During the IPSP scare of October 2002 we diversified amongst processors and set up a few sites with Verotel.
In all this time we have never had a single late payout or any issue with them at all. I've never had to call them for support.
They accept more forms of payment than any processor I am aware of and I am certain they played a role in Teenfilipina hitting it's first 1k standing members in less time than any other site we have done. It now has many thousands of members.
They do require a setup fee or a minimum transaction level of $2k / week if you want to set up as Verotel Pro. If you don't want to pay or you have a low volume you can set up with Ticketsclub. I can honestly recommend them.Comment

Verotel has always paid on time and responded to my support queries (with solutions) immediately.
As a Canadian operator (not interested in becoming american or setting corporate foot in the usa), Verotol offers reasonable options for payment processing.
I have been using them for years without any problems.

Verotel is a real processor that charges the Visa fee.
They have less problems then iBill.
