I love the concept of webmaster boxing and hope it happens, sounds like you have a few things in place to take this all the way.

My thoughts are, it will be hard to raise sponsors if we don't have any match ups lined up yet.

Like, if I knew I'd be seeing 2 well known webmasters really try to kick each others asses, it would be easier to raise the money.

It's like, I can't raise sponsors for a Players Ball unless people have some idea of who's performing first.

The match ups will determine the value of a sponsorship.

You might want to offer money from the sponsorships to the boxers, this way you get more interest in having people fight. Like, a guarantee of $2k per fighter no matter what.

I agree with KB. Throw in some prizes or giveaways to the fighters. What reason do people have to box besides fucking around? I wouldn't want to get a split lip just so a bunch of other people can make money on my ass.

we have built a list up, and are working on getting it biggr now,
some of the people that have mentioned they want to fight so far

and now that we have the venue locked we are looking to add to that list.

we as well will have a section where sponsored fighters can be brought in too so any company that sponsors will get a chance to choose from a pool of fighters from a local boxing club, or they can bring in their own from anywhere .

we will have ring girl competitions being announced soon.

and of course there will be prizes, and money awarded to the fighters, we are working those details out now

so again I repeat if you have any interest in being a part of this evfent on any level then we would like to speak with you.

we wil also be having girls fight each other too this is not just for the guys only.

The guys have been working on this for months, and have found a lot of interest. There is a lot to doing the event. It has to be done right. There are rules, there are laws, and the guys have been in contact with all the officials.

This is not a street fight, this is sport - for those who are interested in such. You have to have a physical for one thing, so it is not being taken lightly. It is not a last minute grudge match type of thing. There is 4 months until the show & it will take every minute of it. I don't like last minute surprises:-) This event can be done, and could be a lot of fun - proper planning is the key.

The hotel just agreed to the event yesturday, so until that time there could be nothing but rumers - now they are ready to go. I am sure that there will be a lot of things happening on http//www.webmasterboxing.com in the next few weeks.

it is based on amature rules, every competitor will have head gear, mouthpiece, crotch pads, and 16 oz gloves,

competitors must pass a physical, and an aids test as well before they will be allowed to fight.
