easter is a great holiday.
it makes jesus happy that we all celebrate the supposed day of his ressurection by giving each other chocolate and participating in gluttonous feasts.
just read it right in leviticus "And ye shall give each other small baskets filled with plastic grass, and thou shalt have bunnies of chocolate bestowed upon them."
