    Picked up a new ride today -pics-

    After 3 years it was time to trade off the M3.After testing just about everything comparable I decided to go with an 06 MB E55amg.
    470hp,supercharged delivers over 510lbs of torque.0-60 in 4.2 and incredibly comfortable.

                      It's still got the appeal.Probably more so that I have some experience with it now.It's one of those cars that really has a learning curve.Mine is the 6sp,and it was my first experience with a gated shift.Along with the clutch and brake positions.They are very tight,but the design was clearly well thought out for performance driving.
                      The car is amazing to drive fast through tight corners.No understeer at all.The awd and the torque it develops makes it very predictable.Neither of my porsches could stay with it on the track.
                      If you are considering one,I would absolutely recommend it.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  If anything,I'd say that Chrysler quality has improved due to the influence of Mercedes engineering and qc.Obviously,its too soon for me to comment on the quality of the E55..it has about 200 miles on it now.But the fit and finish of the car is what you would expect from AMG and Mercedes.
