Yes, hit me up, I'll have you setup next day. It'll be an unmetered 10Mbps, so there will be no quota, just a full 10Mbps bandwidth port.

Hi!

In reference to "10mbps line with a 9999gb quota"

That's funny because if you pegged a 10 meg connection for 30 days you'd only be able to transfer 3000+- gigs!

Yes, I know this. It should be about 3200GBs. Below is what it says in my members area for my Rack Shack server. To be honest, I think they made a mistake and gave me too much.

Your Monthly Bandwidth Quota is: 9999 GB
You have used 0.01% of your allowed Bandwidth

I wouldn't touch it for $399, but at $499 I might make a special available. If anyone is interested, feel free to call me in the office or ICQ me. My solution would be fully managed on the following hardware running RedHat Enterprise ES:

Supermicro 1U Server
Intel Pentium 4 3.0ghz, Hyperthreading with an 800mhz Front Side Bus
1 Gigabyte of Dual Channel DDR400/PC3200 RAM (Upgradeable to 4GB)
Dual 80GB Serial ATA150 Hard Drives, each with 8MB Cache (Upgradeable to 400gb)
Dual Intel Gigabit Network Interfaces (10/100/1000)
100 Megabit External Network Connection, 1000 Megabit Internal Network Connection

My guess is that Rackshack didn't screw up. They've capped your port so it doesn't matter if it says 9999999 allowed gigs, the most you could get is in that 3k range. That's probably just what it displays by default on that type of plan.

Sorry, the best we can do on our 10 MBPS unmetered plan is our standard $350 per month as listed in my sig... and don't try begging cuz I still won't charge you $399.

Sure I can throw you on a dedicated line with 20 others and cap it at 15 megs the charge you only $100. Then I can say 15 megs $100 a month.

Or I can put you on Verio or Cogent and just have you go out of business from slow or dead loading pages.

Spend a half an hour and learn about hosting and bandwidth, or you might as well throw away your business.

Think about it.. even Yahoo pays $37 a meg, so how can any adult hosting company here be getting a lower price?

I prefer to be honest and focus on a long quality relationship.
