What the hell is that little push button right above the hood release for? I pushed it and nothing happens. It's not mentioned in the manual.

yeah, I lOVE this car. VERY reliable..

        well

        for the most part.

My gf left the HUD lights on this afternoon and the battery died a few hours later. So we had to recharge it.. then the dreaded antitheft code warning came up on the cd deck. time to head to the dealer and beg for a code lol

"Not allowed" I'm told by her hehe.

She doesn't want to give up the tape deck that sits under the cd deck. Even though she only used it twice.

If honda plans to charge us to get the code we will go aftermarket though

I've got a 2001 civic. I don't know what button you're referring to, but my goddamn windshield wipers don't work. One day about 2 months ago they just stopped for no fucking reason.

It's probably just your fuse. Check the manual to see if the fuse for it is under the dash or under the hood then check it

next time you are in your car look about 1 inch above the hood release and see if there is a little chrome push button. I'd be curious if it did or not. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my remote car starter.
