I will tell ya a summary.
It was a pivotal moment in adult internet History when XPICS publishing acquired a company I basically put on the map.
XPICS acquired that company to the tune of 10 Million.
I was entitled to my fair share of the sale considering I was the only guy designing for that company that was bought at that time. I helped create the first affiliate tracking software and designed the first pages that ever implemented affiliate tracking.
The nasty part about the deal was the owner of the company was a coke head and kept the money for himself.
My vigilanti style I decided to leave the coke head company and work for Brian Schuster directly. I went on a mission to ruin any credibility that the company had since I was abruptly cut out of the buy out deal. Once that said company went bankrupt I left XPICS.
If you know old internet adult history ya know these words are true.
I should have filed a lawsuit instead...

About $4K by one of the first live video sponsors when they went tits up; 5-figure losses courtesy of Globill and the other payment processor which went pear-shaped around the same time in what, 2003 (?); several small amounts via vanished sponsors (mainly dialers): a little over $40K in total, already billed.
The one which p*ssed me off most, although the amount of money was very small, was Adult Check, because of course they stayed in business and among the people still happy to work with them are some well-known webmasters. I thought that was a very dangerous precedent for the industry.Comment

I have been paid handsomely by many people to remain anonymous on many things that have effected and continue to effect this industry.
Dont get me wrong, I have what I need to live and get by, I have property in Tahoe and live in LA. If I were more aggressive, and far less selfless in helping people I would be richer than FantasyMan or perhaps even Mark De.
Even at this very moment I have put into the wheels just TODAY that effect over 3/4's of you webmasters currently in this industry. This is no joke.
Believe me when I say it...
I have helped or assisted many many of todays success stories in adult internet since 1995-96. I keep a very low profile for the most part and am rather concieted about my accomplishments most of which I never mention.
But regarding you new folks in this business in the age where anyone can make a porn site and turn a few bucks profit from it I will mention some things that are very important.
I suppose this about XPICS back in the good days was to enlighten some of you about NOT TAKING ANY SHIT FROM NO ONE. Do it your way or you will live like me, in a world of regret.
