    Eagles at my place

    I see eagles more days than not at my place usually in the air, but today.. these two have stuck around for quite a while.

                          Do any of your cats go outside? Seems like those things could fly away with a cat in their talons.

                                  No.. cats are all indoors. I've seen one with a huge salmon before (not at my house). These were eyeing my koi, but I have a net over the pond so they just hang out.

                                      Eagles are known to grab up peoples small dogs. A cat would be no problem, except it may be more elusive!

                                                          When I am fishing in Northern Canada and we catch a crap fish, we will slit it up and hold it up for the Eagles. Throw it next to the boat and watch them swoop in. Pretty cool.
