Thank your 3rd party processors for shitty conversions. I'm sure they will respond with everything is fine on our end.
I always couldn't stand the fact that my success is based in the hands of some 3rd party where there is so much politics and if you aren't part of the "inner circle" you're basically placed into a different tier. Of course they will deny all allegations but the truth of the matter is, it exists and exits in a large way.
I'm not going to worry about that come next week because with the help of Netbilling, we now have our own merchant account which means more control.
Should have everything operational by Tuesday. At least if I fall flat on my face, I can blame myself which is how it should be.
My theory is there is to much money and hard work going into a program and control is the key. To many hands and influences in the pie is a sure recipe for disaster.

with netbilling will you be crosselling your self at all?
with netbilling will you be crosselling your self at all?
No I won't. Reason being is with a full membership, you have access to all sites. Trial membership you have limited access which is only access to the site you initially joined. I have mixed feelings about cross sales.

We use Netbilling exclusively as well and our sales are fucking rockin'!
I don't even see a point in cascading anymore once Netbilling is implemented.
Actually cascading is always a good idea. You will surely have better sales through Netbilling. However, you will want to block their banned countries and should still pass your declines to your secondary for those decloines and if for some reason the Netbilling system does not respond, however rare.

what percentage increase do you think you will get in sales when netbilling is
implemented?
I know you were not asking me but... Since Netbilling lets us adjust the fraud scrubbing for our different Netbilling sites, we saw about a 25% increase in sales when we switched from 3rd part processing and very little extra chargebacks (if at all). We scrub harder on our genreal sites and less on our niche sites.

We pay 1.5% and 15¢ per transaction plus a bit extra because they handle all of our customer service too. That is Netbilling's fees and the merhant account rates are about 4.5%. We process checks with them too and they charge only 5% for check processing.

Hey Alex.. I used to think inconsistancies were the third party processors fault, but I have to tell you, I see the same thing with NetBilling and our merchant account. It's just the way sales are..
I have a graph in my admin section to show how many times the join page was loaded, how many times it was completed, how many joins and how many failures there were and you'd be amazed at the variety, and our traffic is usually pretty consistent..

So your sales did not increase overall when switching to your own merchant account?
