Every now and then I my ear gets blocked like that. It's a pain in the ass because it's sooooo hard to get it out of there. The last time I had it, I tried 2 different kinds of drops, but they didn't work, so I ended up going into the doctor and he just pulled out an "ear irrigation syringe" and blasted water in with that and it came out instantly.
I think that's what you need. Those little bulb syringe cleaners don't have the power to blast it out and in the shower, there's not enough power and the angle is bad, so I'd recommend looking around for one. I did a quick search and found a page here - http://www.earclear.com which shows a picture of what doctors use (that's exactly what they used on me) and it even shows how to use it. I'd HIGHLY recommend getting one (I'm not sure about the site, it's the first one that I pulled up, so you can look around for other sites). I think that I should order one for the next time that I have problems.Comment

i saw something like that at the store but it said for ear wax i think my problem may fluid buildup possibly sinus related but im not sure i have been kinda sick recently. my roommate also told me his ears were plguged pretty bad recentlyComment

I had this while I was in Vegas. Was going on a week and not really hurting but I couldn't hear anyone, so I went to the doc and they squirted some water in it and it was better instantly.Originally posted by aaron
