There are guys a lot bigger than that and they usually run in packs size has less to do with it than you think. When rape does happen it doesn't really matter what you look like. I wouldn't recommend the job. You have to have a certain personality to make it for any length of time. And I can't tell you how many fights I have been in. If you are looking for an adreneline rush then you might want to give it shot, hell if you don't like it you can always quit. Most prisons are always hiring because the turn over is so high. Most people can't or don't want to deal with it.
I liked the rush I got responding to incidents, fighting etc. It got old though and no one can win every fight they are in. I was lucky that I never got hurt. I know people who have gotten fucked up. Those are usually officers who think they are tough.
My thing with the inmates was you are here to do time, and I am here to watch you. You know what you are supposed to do. Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you.
You always have knuckle heads though. And when it is time to kick some ass, you kick some ass. That is how you get respect from the inmates.

Yeah, My brothers talked to all the guards because most was intelligent unlike 99% of prison population.
The westville advancement program is basicly you need to get the shit kicked out of you once and spend some time in the hospital recovering haha, some older guy got like 5 ribs broke and his eye half ripped out and he became top cheif of the guards once he recovered hahaComment
