Yeah, you have to love our FUCKING dot US registry.
In 2002, I registered some polticial .us domains with the word "fuck" in them, the next thing I know NeuStar (the registry) locked them up and removed them from the zone. They have a little censorship policy that says you cant use any of the "heavy seven" in the domain name.

I really should get off my ass and sue them over that. I'm sure that there is a free speech arguement to be made there somewhere, being that .us is being overseen by Neustar on behalf of the USDoC and taxpayer dollars are being expended on the project even if not directly. Keep in mind that this is the same registry that smears its logo feces all over the American flag and proports to be the domain that represents what America is all about.
