I live in Mexico. You're stupid if you spend US dollars here. It's a rip the moment you pull a greenback outta your pocket.
When in Mexico, do as the Mexicans. Go with Pesos. Currently, it's 11.?/1 exchange ratio here. And, DON'T use your credit/debit card here. You pay a higher price when you do. Plastic for ATMs, ONLY!Comment

hmm really? I was in durango and a $100 popped out and i got ambushed by 2 guys selling wallets, 1 selling some bracelet type things, and another selling some of those laser pointers.
