Bush will not stop there. We had a shooting war with Iraq for 10 yrs. we had a no fly zone and they would shoot at us. Iraq was the only nation that was hostile with us after 9/11 WTF did you think was going to happen to them? He said he will go after
any country that was against us. Maybe we should have waited till a nuclear
device is used instead of planes. then maybe you will all be happier?

If Bush doesn't choose to attack Iran within the next 2 years, I will be very surprised.

For me personally, I have enough money(as I am sure you also have enough $$$) that I don't really pay attention to the price of gas and other regular products as a consumer(which are all undoubtedly affected by oil prices--ie.: cost of transporting goods) But I can't argue with your point of it being justified in the eyes of millions of other people---which just proves that those people don't really believe in the ideals of democracy by placing the value of goods over innocent human lives.

There is not a comparison...so I am not using a comparison as an argument..no where at any point in time have I compared the two Presidents...but in fact one President was convicted of a crime...where as the other President has not even been charged with a crime.

I am not and have never been a follower of President Bush.

He does have a history of cocaine abuse from his earlier years, I thought that was a crime...

It has never been proven that he ever used cocaine...only rumored...but bottom line he has not been charged with committing a crime while President of the United States...and President Clinton was...and was convicted...in a court of law.

George W Bush lied. It's that simple.

1. he stood in front of the nation and held up a document that he claimed proved that saddam was trying to buy nuclear material from african countries. He also said that we had found aluminum tubes that were used for enriching uranium. It came out later that at the time he held up that paper we were 95% sure it was a forgery ( we later bumped that up to 100% ) also at that time 12 of his 13 nuclear advisors told him those tubes had nothing to do with nuclear weapons. So he knew he had a forged document and was telling us something they found was used for something it really wasn't . . . last I checked that's a lie.

2. bush hammered the point that they had ties to bin laden. We learned, before we invaded, that this was not the case and yet Cheney said simply " yes they do." well, if I am told by the experts that they don't and another guy is saying they do someone here is lying and I doubt it's the people doing to the investigation.

2. Yes we had what we thought was proof. Powell went before the UN and held up sattelite photos and said " this is a chemical weapons plant and these are trucks used to transport it." so when we got weapons inspectors into the country they went there and found that it was a grain processing plant, not a chemical weapons plant. After 6 weeks going everywhere we told them the inspectors found nothing. But we didn't wait for them to continue the search. So some of our so called proof was wrong, but we still claimed they had the weapons eventhough all of our proof turned out to be wrong and we knew this before going in. So maybe not a complete lie. with evidence that weak you couldn't get a shoplifting conviction much less justify an invasion.

3. the big one though is what he recently said. After the weapons inspectors concluded there are no WMD's and we know there were no ties to bin laden bush was asked if he knew then everything he knows now would he still invade and he said yes. So this prooves that he had other motives beyond the WMD's and terrorist ties. Motives he told nobody about which means when he went on TV and told the nation we are going in because of ties to terrorist and WMD's that was a bold face lie because he said himself he would go in there now even knowing there are no WMD's or terrorist ties.

Bush wanted to invade iraq and he would did anything he could to sell it to the american people and many of us bought it. I'm not saying that saddam was a good guy, he was a monster, but to assume that the bush administration is being truthful with you about the reasons we are in Iraq is a pretty nieve way of thinking.
