Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Retention- Subscriptions & VOD
Based in LA, this senior position is responsible for the business strategy and execution to drive membership growth and retention across Playboy's online subscription and (Video On Demand) VOD businesses. This position includes full revenue and P&L responsibility and this person will need to effectively manage ROI of marketing campaigns.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and update marketing plan and program strategy through a combination of Playboy.com's organic type-in traffic, partnerships and opt-in email. Maximize value of Playboy's in-house customer service and member outreach programs to drive retention and reacquisition of members. Work closely with Adult.com to maximize impact of the PlayboyCash affiliate program.
2. Develop quarterly acquisition, promotions, and offer testing plans, refining overall direct response and relationship marketing approaches.
3. Develop outbound communications and promotions for daily, weekly, monthly distribution to opt-in email recipients and other participants.
4. Partner with creative teams to create editorial content for new products and for improving retention in existing products.
5. Identify product and industry trends to develop strategy around new products and tactics
6. Develop creative concepts and manage efforts to create the most effective copy, messages, and voice for all of our outbound communications and various parallel promotions on web site(s).
7. Develop strategies and follow through on initiatives relating to, search engine optimization, affiliate and partnership marketing, loyalty programs and CRM management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a minimum of 7 years of online customer acquisition and retention experience.
Experience with subscription, loyalty and direct marketing is essential. Adult experience not required but helpful.
Prior experience developing and presenting direct response marketing programs that identify core test elements and alignment with prioritized business objectives.
Experience developing SEO plans, media buying plans, Google Adwords, and prior experience working with leading search portals
Strong knowledge of acquisition methods, CRM techniques and online marketing tactics and metrics, preferably in the subscription arena.
Some travel required.
