how old are you? 12? Ovechkin is great and the most exciting player to come into the NHL since Lemieux - but why put down Crosby? Crosby is almost 2 years younger and will score close to 40 goals in his rookie season. They have just begun their careers - in 15 years we'll see what they both accomplished.

Gretzky was far from the most exciting player of his time - greatness isn't measured in highlight reel goals.
