    national anthem, does it choke you up a little?

    or do you just not even pay attention or even care at all? when you hear it sung does it get to you a little and make you think and feel thankful and proud?

                              i could care less who's singing it and how good they sing, it's about the effort they're putting into it and the meaning and feeling of it. that kid can't sing, but he was giving it all he could and it meant something to him and that's what makes it great.

                                      I agree. It could be song by anyone and it would still be good. I got a choked up by the kid singin'. I think some people forget how lucky we are and they take shit for granted.

                                              exactly, i hardly even pay attention to how it's being sung, if you've got time to do that then you're missing the whole point of it all. it's a time to think and feel something bigger than how good someone can sing.
