so many people on GFY, why cant we work together?

there is a serious number of webmasters hanging around, and after all this time we still dont have a way to benefit from our size?

what about some sort of linklist? Maybe we are each allowed 2 links providing we link to the linklist with atleast 5 other sites ... this would create some serious link-backs!

then we have one of the local SEO guys help us and optimize it for some specific keywords.

I think if we all pulled together on something like this, we can help each other make better money.

there would be prime banner space, maybe these can be devided to those offering over 100 link-backs or something, something that is going ot seriously help the site.

just seams ashame that we have so much talent sitting around yet we are still so competitive, why not help each other make cash? there is plenty to go around lol

im all for competition, it only makes us stronger and work harder.

But christ! If as a team we can grab some traffic that we could not do on our own, why not go for it?

google is golden, and it can be beaten. Its just hard because of all the competition on there, but 200 webmasters pushing a single site has GOT to force results!

Sure they might have a decent looking lawn but I can tell you they are not going to be working togeather to get clients and dividing their money up. That is, unless they are happy sharing a house with 9 other landscapers the rest of their lives.

$20,000 a month/200 = $100 each
Plus the people doing the most work are going to want a bigger cut, etc.

If you can find something that will generate over $10 mil a year then the plan might work

how much work is it for you to add links to a few of your high ranked sites?

would take you only minutes! And as a result, you chance grabbing some very good SE hits from the site in the long run.

The site can have randomly rotated links, all that can be worked out to be equal to everyone involved.

not to mention, lets say there is 100 webmasters involved who together have contributed 5,000 link backs .... cant tell me that wont also generate trickled traffic to the main site, again benefitting the group since we all have links on the main page.

its a very broad idea with no details worked out at all, i was just saying how i think we can all work together, i think it would have great reuslts.

If you organize it, people will jump in, basically its your idea so most of the work will need to be done by you, Get something set up then throw the idea out here... people will grab on it
