First off this isn't a 'latino' issue. It's about a very small percentage of the mexican population and has nothing whatsoever to do with latinos from any other countries, so don't try to hide behind other people with brown skin and call anyone who disagrees with you a xenophobe. No one is going to buy it and your attempt is pathetic. It's inflammatory and can only serve as a distraction from the issue being discussed - which just shows that you don't have anything rational to support you.
I'm well aware that the illegals weren't the only ones protesting. For some reason there are alot of people who sympathize with these criminals and they are disgrace to law abiding citizens of all nationalities. What you saw in the streets a couple days ago were thousands of people who support criminals.
I'm also not so naive as to think there weren't law abiding immigrants and others of mexican descent who disagreed with the protestors. Or do you think that there is 100% unity in this issue from that segment of the population just because they share a common ancestry?
