    Blog people...

    How important is a head banner? How far does it go in branding a site? Is no image text banner just as good as a Text-Only Image banner?

    I have banners on a couple of blogs now but I'm thinking about launching this next one with no banner. I can't get it to have the professional look I am trying to achieve with a banner.

      I think banners stick in peoples mind and they remember it, its all apart of branding.

          Your banner is hot...unique...and it's yours. The blog I'm launching has no logo...so I'm not really sure of which way to go with it.

                  Use an image, and text. Use css to hide the text. Best of both Worlds.

                          i use on almost every site a head banner.. plus if u dont redirect google img traffic u should put a head banner on your blogs.. its the first thing google img surfers see in that bottom google frame

                          edit: sorry thought u were talking bout general banner ad on top besides site logo image
