Civil war? Pfiffle!
This is no different than the previous waves of immigration. The Chinese, the Irish, the Italians, and many other groups were all demonized at one time or another, but they became American and America became them. So what if Hispanic culture becomes more prevalent in the next 50 years? By that time we won't even notice the difference and neither will the Hispanics.
