Another very little known fact is the Treasury Departments / SSA's "Earnings Suspense Database Files."
Because illegals use made up SS numbers on their W2's, when the Treasury Dept started to really look at the number of mismatched statements they were staggering. During the 1990's alone the government had to literally "stash" and set aside as "unknown suspense" over $189 Billion of wages that weren't in sync with real SS numbers. The government makes money from all the deductions out of this for social security and medicare that they'll never have to pay out on. Plus since these people can't file income tax returns, the government keeps all the tax money deducted out and never has to issue them a tax refund. This is one of the real reasons the government has hesitated to clamp down on the borders. Just like the big corporations, the government is profiting by taking in billions of dollars from these people.
