i need FIREWORKS tutorials, not photoshop!

Fireworks is great for image optimization ... its batch tool saves me hours of work and megs of bandwidth. But I've never bothered to use it for actual design purposes ... sorry.

fireworks is also great for data driven graphics wizard
because it allow you to create macros that can combine image objects together to make cool galleries, full page ads etc

FUCK fireworks. Only good purpose for its existence is to convert Photoshop images to flash for animation and such.

I think AMP used fireworks primarily for all his designs .. could be wrong
but it seems it has more uses than that , for those that have the knowhow

if your comparing fireworks and photoshop for image editing, photoshop wins no question.

Fireworks rocks!

I really love it... but I think it isn't the best option for effects. Anyway, most of photoshop's effects can be done in Fireworks too, so keep looking.

Fireworks rocks. But what I usually do is edit the images in Photoshop then bring them into Fireworks to do animations etc.
