I am coming back from running some errands, and I swing by Wendy's to pick up a quick dinner. I go through the drive through, and they always mess it up, so I checked out the order as I drove away. Sure enough, the forgot Vanilla's burger.
So, as I turn back into the parking lot, I snag a bite of my burger. I taste something very hard in the meat, and I spit it out into my hand. Looks like a piece of cow bone or something, so now I am grossed out and pissed. I grab the food and go into the restaurant, and ask for the manager. As, I'm waiting, I look at the bone piece in the inside light, and I can tell it is not a bone, but part of a human tooth!!
I am freaked out, so when the manager gets there, I tear into him. Of course, he would only give me a refund, so I storm out thinking of which government agency to report this to first. I call Vanilla on the cell, to tell her what happened, and as the phone pressed against my face, I feel something in my cheek...
...A broken tooth!! It was part of MY tooth!!! Apparently, a filling had moved/expanded in one of my back molars, and a piece cracked off when I bit into the burger. It was soft food, and I did not feel it happen (or any pain), so I did not think it was mine. Guess it will be a while before I go back to that Wendy's.
