Many people define GFY by a handful of active posters; I am not sure that is an appropriate sample.

Might be the same as defining "all kids" by the ones that smoke.

My take. Back in '02 everyone was still in discovery, evolving the business of porn to what it is today. It's like a nation becoming industrialized. You have Rockefellers emerging from the opportunity and setting the standard. They've gone on to retirement (for the most part) having made their fortune. What we have left today is the fallout you see here. Mostly scavengers and bottom feeders looking for crumbs of opportunity that has all pretty much been monopolized by the large sponsors. The noise you see here are all the little worker ants feeding that monopoly, and with so many legs, not much opportunity for getting wealth.

With that said, any new titans that emerge from here on in are going to be achieving this secretively and through biz savvy. So no sense in asking for "business threads".

Because in the end, everyone is going to be out to fuck you.
