I need to know how much bandwidth I can expect to be burning up going full time with some gallery submissions.

if you submit everyday you also have to think about the bandwidth from old galleries coz they're flying around, getting scanned, going into google.. so you'll easy burn a few hundred gigs when you get some good listings ...
+ don't forget a anti hontlinking htaccess coz fucking fusker & boards will leech your files too -

A submitter with a good database and partner accounts can burn 300 gigs but if you're just starting out with an average database and submit one gallery per day then expect to burn 60 gigs.Originally posted by CumSenseiComment

If you're serious about submitting on a regular schedule, your best bet would be find a host that will give you a low-end dedicated server package (1-3 mbps) and is willing to upgrade your plan when you start pushing your limits. Most hosts should be able to help you with this. We're talking anywhere from $100-300. If that is a little too much for you, get a semi-dedicated package. Those usually go for $50-200. A virtual account you'll blow out pretty quick and isn't near as cost efficient.
There's no way for anyone to tell you how much bandwidth you'll blow. There are far too many variables. Pictures, movies, listings, partner accounts, paid listings, etc.

It has been pointed out already, but it really does depend on a few things. Movies or thumbs, sizes of the movies or thumbs, where you're submitting to, where your listings are on the page, etc. Most months my galleries are doing around 10 mbps on a 95th percentile plan, but last week I had a al4a listing, a worldsex listing, and a hun listing all in the same week, so currently I am at around 15mbps for the last 30 days.Originally posted by Chris Malais
