The Aviator was great but any shortcomings the film had were not with Dicaprio but with the directing itself. A great film but not one of Martins best.Comment

He will be 'rewarded' for doing two mainstream films in a row. He should have got it for Ed Wood when he was nominated but it was too 'non-hollywood'. Now they are welcoming him back.
