I've met a few people in life who have "made it" by any definition. Without exception not one of them thought they had - all thought the best was yet to come, past sucess was not that big a deal, etc.
It's all about being respected by others that "makes you". It's rather pathetic if you earn 2-300K/year doing porn and nobody respects you for that. You're just another loser with alot of money. It's all attitude and charisma that does the trick. My god some people on this board are living in a small small world. Some may think -> WHOHO I make 10K/month submitting galleries, I made it! Look at me! And everybody thinks you're a loser who surfs porn and sits behind it's pc all day.
For me, "I made it" -> If I can keep my earnings without touching a single button or sitting behind the PC for more than 10 minutes/day -> doing stuff that matters!!
I don't know if I will ever feel that I have made it. No matter what level I reach I always feel the pressure. I don't know if it is that I want to take care of employees properly or what. I think it will take retirement for me to feel that I have made it ;)

"Made it" is a general term. I consider each level of success as "making it". I knew I "made it" another level this past year when my family and friends that don't know I was in the business started suspecting I was selling drugs due to my house, cars, toys, and charity contributions.
The next level for me to make is to increase my income with less hours. I need to work smarter.
