What is the status of TGP2?

Hi,

A long time ago, I remember that TGP2 was touted as the new standard for TGPs and there was considerable initiative to get it going.

Is it still around and being supported or has interest in it faded away?

Check out tgp2base.com for the latest on TGP2. The message board is temporarily down as it got hit by that message board worm that was going around but there is links to the gallerypool, rules, and a free gallery rotation service at rotateher.com

I don't see what it is not practical. Consider it another traffic source. These days you must get your traffic from as many places as possible.
Take your old 20 pic tgp gallery that you have submitted elsewere, divide it up into 4 tgp2 galleries of 5 pics each, while your at it put the large pic on html, with a banner on top and a text link below and hook that large pic staight to your sponsor and then submit it to http://www.tgp2gallerypool.com.

What can be easier?
Set up your own tgp2 on that domain you don't know what to do with using links from http://www.rotateher.com.
Don't forget to put lots of juicy text links and keywords for the spiders.

What was not practical was spending time trying to submit and get traffic when your competition was submitting raw, hardcore 20 pic galleries.

Although TGP2 was the better choice it just got killed by natural selection. Online Darwinism in action.

Anyway, if you are going to do something strictly for the spiders then don't you think it makes more sense to use FPA's and HPA's? Folks need to get out of the habit of giving away porn. It's not necesssary. Spiders can't see pink, they index half page ad slices the same as they would butt naked images.

I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

I don't make tgp2 galleries anymore - use to and made alot of money with them. Actually the galleries are still making me money after 2 years being up. I wish it took off better then it did- too much infighting going on though

Why would TGP2 continue to get submissions from Vic from Cloud9cash:

Check out the galleries from http://www.TGP2gallerypool.com
Programs like karups, cloudcash and epic cash offer hosted tgp2 galleries. In fact amateur pages galleries were also 5 pics, wonder why?

We used to sumbit to alot of the TGP2 sites and I have to say the bandwidth used from posting to over 50 of them was bugger all and you would do a good load of sign up from it. I am now wondering why we stopped!

I sure liked the idea behind TGP2 - it was a more sensible distillation of TGPs in general. A standard which still managed to balance bandwidth and user experience.

I also like the TGP2 pools - this made it easier to submit and have access to TGP galleries (plus one got more mileage out of a gallery).

The reason I asked about TGP2 was that I would like to add something to the TGP2 pools concept/scripts. Specifically, one of the side effects of some implementations of TGP2 were lists of generic titles which were identical but each link pulled a different gallery.

This is not an ideal presentation for either surfers or search engines. I have a means to produce unique gallery titles for specific themes which could replace those pesky lists of redundant theme titles.

If anyone involved in TGP2 is interested, please contact me.

Hi Jimmer,

I've looked through your forum, rotather script, and the TGP2 gallery - looks more sensible than ever before.

I'm going to give it a go.

I'll put a TGP2 site up and start contributing galleries as well. I see that there is some room for original bodyart niche galleries.

I'll be using my Instant Content Solutions (ICS) to build my TGP2 compliant galleries complete with SE friendly unique text - this will be a good use for it.

I used to submit all the time to TGP2's then somehow I got blacklisted. For a lot of galleries I use the root of the domain for my clean no-recip gallery. So www.domain.com/gallery1/ would be the url I would submit for clean galleries. So I get blacklisted for doing this because they want www.domain.com/gallery1/index.html as the url submitted. Fair enough I do that and all is good. Then I get blacklisted again because some webmaster said I had recips on the clean gallery. Which is not correct. Finally I just gave up.

the funny thing is the other day I got a topbucks sale for a site I haven't promoted in like 2 years and it was from an old tgp2 gallery. So maybe one of these days I'll try it again. I don't know.
