I doubt they care about tight convertion ratios.

They need sales quantity.

Don't forget that $70 is on sign ups that spend money! That is like paying per active member. You aren't comparing apples to apples. That $70 payout is only on about 1/3 of actual new accounts since they have to deposit money before you get paid!

$50 a signup unless it's a special promotion, a loss leader, like many programs have run for a day or a week isn't possible without somebody getting screwed - so it's either the surfers or affiliates or both.

the reason I am only working with webmasters who can generate alot of sales is it makes it easier for me to work one on one with them and I know we won't get screwed.

Plus if I made it $50 across the board it would get abused. been there done it.
