Update on this... It's been almost 6 months since I posted this, and the thing is that I am going out with him now, and he is my bf. The thing is that he is a GREAT guy, and his penis works FINE. He can have sex and ejaculate and all of that good stuff. So he is NOT impotent. He thinks that eventually he will die from a brain aneurism.

The thing is that he is very stubborn and I cannot argue against him against Dr Lin and his beliefs or my bf will think that I am questioning his intelligence and get very upset. He claims that Dr Lin is the future and that the American medical community is in a conspiracy to keep "alternative medicine" out of the mainstream and that medical schools are controlled by the FDA and other such bullshit. I told him to maybe go see a psychiatrist because I think he might be a bit schizophrenic, but he got very upset because he claims that he doesn't want to argue about things that he "knows" to be factual.

I think Mutt hit it right on the head. I think he is a hypochondriac. He bought a vacuum pump thing exactly like this one http://www.actionlove.com/msg.htm and pumps his body everywhere, his back, his legs, his thighs, his arms, chest, because the thinks his blood is "stagnated" and that this will help his body heal by diffusing his blood. The thing is leaving huge bruises all over his body, it is disgusting! And he is always feelin his head or certain parts of his body and when he feels "bumps" or something like that, he will get freaked out and try to see if I have them too. I think he is obsessed with his body to the point where it is not normal.
And he is always writing crazy stuff in his notebook about crazy things like
morphology, blood diffusion, prostagladin, GABa and other things like that...
He tells me that the things he writes about are so "complex" that normal people don't understand him, that they don't even teach it in college, but that you have to be on a different level to grasp it.

He never took steroids so that is not a problem. He also has conflicts with religion becase he was raised Catholic, and claims that why he never had sex till he was 24 because his dad used to hit him for being interested in girls. That's why he hates his father today.

Our relationship is very serious and we've been seeing each other everyday. I am also going to teach him how to promote sponsors so he will start working again soon. He is a very smart guy and knows a lot more about pc's than I do, even how to build them, do programming and everything. So I find it odd that someone so smart can be so insane. I can't help him though, because when I suggest that he go so a psych he gets very offended and thinks that I don't trust him, even when I'm suggesting it very tactfully. How do you help someone like this?

Correction on this, he is not schizophrenic, just a hypochondriac... He doesn't hear voices or anything, he is just always thinking he is sick. I do believe he really "feels" sick, but I just don't think he is going to die.

He is also really obsessive in other ways I don't find normal. For example thinking tap water is not good to shower in because it has fluoride and toxins. He claims if he had money he would get his water filtered when he showers, and he is looking for soap with vitamins so it can "penetrate" his body. I'm pretty sure soap is just for "External" use and the "vitamins" don't exaclty penetrate into your blood or anything like that.
