I think the most of us (me also) don't realize that WE are those who create the porn and face of the biz.All sponsors , webmasters and customers of ours are just selling those products.They have nothing to do with creating the face of the porn.Not talking about those who produce the content themselfs - they are not your customers.
All those blow-outs and custom productions for peanuts are just ruining our biz.

A fair markup is expected since I know that providers are running a business and not a charity. For those that can actually meet the specifications and provide the clients with exactly what they wanted in a timely fashion with minimal to no hassles, they should be compensated properly. For those types of providers I see no issue at all with them getting anywhere from a fity to one hundred percent markup over costs.
Where I run into problems is when some providers think nobody knows the approx costs of certain scenes and then really try to jack you over on the price. If I know a certain girl works for 200 per solo scene and the producer tries to charge me 600 for an unedited tape I can get a little perturbed.
I do think some providers have droped their prices to low though on certain things, yet that was the nature of the beast when more and more people began shooting. I just do not think many considered quality when they compared themselves to others. A quality producer should demand more.
