The guy on the left is Swiss, the one on the right is from England. After the Tsunami they stayed in Thailand to help the local people cleaning up everything. The picture was taken in a work break when a thai local brought them some beer as we was so thankful for their help.

On the picture where the lady collects garbage, the thing that you should all see is how one person ( probably volauntary) helps, while the other lays down and takes a sun bath. Love the candy assed knee jerk reactions. In the wake of a disaster like this, the tourism industry turns to shit. The tourism industry feeds many people, and while these people aren't exactly going to be making up for everyone else who has since cancelled their trip, whatever they're spending is going to help sustain whichever hotel they are staying at, bar they're drinking at, and shops they buy at.
