I think people have delusions of grandeur when it comes to finding quick panaceas for their website woes- often I am made the fall guy.

I am fine with that as long as their checks clear- however I don't do well with people trying to defame me or take cheap shots. I have paid my dues in this business, and most of the young, snot nosed GFYers who don't know 1/10 of what I have done really don't deserve to know imho-

Some gigs are wonderful, some are extremely arduous. I take more chances bringing on different products all the time not knowing what the reaction will be from people-
Some products I have learned, even with the best promotion will not get webmasters interested or get the juices flowing in a lot of TV producers- it's just the way it goes.

I always try to represent mt clients in the most positive light as possible and I really try to make them all happy

There are just some people that no matter what they do - will constantly bitch and moan...

I am learning to not deal with SOME clients these days, no matter how much money they have, I simply don't need the aggravation....

There are ten billion reality shows, and some are very good.

Question though in regards to my previous question about how you 'rep' for these internet companies. I would assume most companies want more affiliates so i'll use that.

Example: If a said adult internet company was looking to obtain more affiliates and that was their sole goal, how do go about 'repping' them to achieve this goal? What do you do to gain that company new affiliates that they can't do themselves? What measure and steps would you take to gain these new affiliates for this company?

Maybe i'm wrong, but a few news clippings, press releases, etc wouldn't do much on gaining new affiliates? Obviously exposure in any sense is beneficial. But either way, i'd rather ask up front instead of sitting here scratching my head. Curious to hear your thoughts.

Congrats KB i've talked to Magg on a few occasions and i'll be using them to host all my stuff in the very near future. I am just putting together the package as I am not one to waste anybodies time that is why I don't do things until i'm ready because time is money and i will not rob anybody of it, But again congrats on the new gig.

Every client I take on has individualized needs. If the said client devotes their time with me and sits down with me to conduct a thorough "CNA" or Customer Needs Analysis we address just what the primary focus of their marketing campaig should be.
There are three scenarios usually when addressing the issues of handling their 'marketing" or PR

A). More exposure to the website in the form of mainstream attention and "branding" opportunites.
This includes thorough press release writing and distribution to the top adult and non adult press.
I also spend 2/3 of my day hitting the pjones hard getting the word out or prospecting- ( whois listings are not the same as they once were ) :-((

B).Increase awareness among the webmaster community, incorporating my press contacts along with my personal rolodex of friends and clients I have in the business going back 7 yrs. (Not the sales reps, ot the board posters, but the decision makers of some of the largest companies in the adult web- most you have heard of- a lot many of you would never even know half of these guys exist I closely safeguard my resources. I also work with the best SEO Specialists, Designers, and hosting companies in the business and get a lot of price breaks for people based upon the nature of my business . Most people know I have the attention of a lot of people.

C). Event promotion- getting people involved in various adult and non adult sponsorship opportunities for private parties that include some of the richest people in the world with hollywoodpop.com, and theplayersball.com along with my brother.
