I got bitten by 3 Brown Recluses in a matter of three weeks. Each was less severe than the one before it. I think I am now immune.

you're usually immune after the 1st bite, i got bit by a recluse one day, wound up in the hospital (calf swelled up size of a grapefruit) swelling finally went down 4-5 days later and I got bit by a black widow and wound up in the hospital again

. Since then i've been bitten by recluse's 5 or 6 times and never had anything worse then some mild itching for a day or 2

Yeah, it sucked. It was like my flesh was rotting from the inside out on my leg. I couldn't really feel too bad seeing as my roommate at the time got bit on the dick.

Funny part is, that isn't the spider itself. It is one his skins. They crawl out of their own skin almost every year. I'm scared shitless for that thing and I never touched it in the 9 years that I have it now, it was a gift.

The real thing is living in a closed 1 ft fishtank, doing whatever the fuck he is doing ;)

8-98, I don't think they are poisenous, getting bit is like a bee-sting.

I have to admit that once you have one of these for so many years, they turn out to be pretty interesting. I'm not ever going to hold it, but it doesn't look like a spider to me anymore, more like a small hairy scary creature
