Perhaps CCBill did this because they were seeing all the negative responses from affiliates about promoting sites using CCBill. Before this there were a lot of threads from affiliates saying they would promote CCBill due to the possibility of shaving. Now its confirmed...
But on a personal note - I hope this has a MAJOR impact on the cheaters bottom line.

If I wanted to use ccbill and I worked out that the best way for me to make money was to offer 80% revshare for the initial signup and the first 2 rebills then I could do it with ccbill.
Of course I would need to make it very clear in my signup and T&C that this was the deal, if I said it was rebills for life and then made it only rebill once then I'd be a scammer. CCbill by making this information available helps affiliates to ensure they aren't getting screwed.Comment

I'll probably be contacting ccbill shortly to point out my stats, but I'm still not sure of the full story with PG... from what I understand ccbill's problem was a REPORTING issue only, which means that my stats prove that PG really did have their rebills set to a maximum of 1. I don't know if ccbill are claiming otherwise, in fact I think I've only seen a single boilerplate post from corvett about this. I kinda lost track of all of the different threads.
Anyway, regardless of whether PG deliberately set the maximum or it was a colossal fuckup by some employee that went un-noticed until now, PG is obligated to pay the $ for the rebills that myself and other affiliates were not credited for. I haven't seen anything saying that they are prepared to do this yet.Comment
