    Copying MS Office XP

I am trying to copy MS OFfice XP from my old computer to my new.... a bulk transfer of the MSOffice directory did not do the trick... anybody know what other files need to be copied in order to make it functional on the new computer?

There are registry keys and .dlls that need to be copied too. You'd be far better off installing from the cd.

If he had the CD he would have done it already instead of trying to copy the directory ...

the other option is to use the feature in winXP that allows you to move everything from one computer to another, including registry entries (I think registry entries anyways)

Best to use the CD to find all the files and reg keys would be practicly impossible
