Have to screw up a good relationship by asking..Where is this going?,what do you see happening in a year or two? I mean can't they just be happy taking things slow and seeing what progresses if anything ? Seems like every relationship I have it always winds up with that question being asked within the first few months..I always get uncomfortable and eventually end it because they keep nagging at me if I don't answer because I don't know what will happen.

So spending time with someone, having a good time is considered a waste of time? We both get what we need..I treat them pretty good.Comment

It depends what age range you're dating. I would guess that most women in their 30s, especially if they don't have any children, are looking for something more long term like marriage.Originally posted by SpunkySo spending time with someone, having a good time is considered a waste of time? Funny this is brought up. My girlfriend and I just broke up over this same issue. Got the same "don't want to waste time" answer. So I said "oh so I'm a waste of your time?" Then got a "no I didn't mean it like that" I mean if you say you love someone then turn around basically called them a waste of your time well I have issue with that. Why not enjoy the now and leave the future shit to the future. Seems like women see a relationship as a destination to be reached than journey to be experienced.Originally posted by SpunkyHave to screw up a good relationship by asking..Where is this going?,what do you see happening in a year or two? It is good to plan for the future, but nothing is forever..People change, their feelings for eachother eventually change.I'm not afraid of commitment it is the term "forever" that turns me offOriginally posted by Stacey_JoinRightNowBec. women always think of the future... We tend to have a plan in everything, and we want security... and we want the word "forever"...Comment

I wouldn't want to be with someone that didn't want and expect similar things in life. There's no other way to describe it, other than a waste of time, because if you stay with someone just to pass the time until you find what you really want, is that fair to anyone?Comment

Some women (not all) never seem to get that you can't force things like deeper feelings, love and commitment. There is no hurrying things along, they have to take their natural course.
However, it's not just women asking this of men. Plenty of guys out there have asked these same kinds of questions of women, and the woman has felt pressured as well.
I've had one or two women start asking "where do you see things going with us" after only one or two dates believe it or not. Talk about pressure.
It's more understandable after seeing someone for a few months that they might want to ask, but there has to be a way to find the answers to those questions without putting pressure on the other person or putting them on the spot.
And in looking at the ridiculous divorce rate out there right now I would say that there is a LOT to be said for just relaxing and taking things slow and being happy, and just getting to know someone and let things take their course.Promote Wildmatch, ImLive, Sexier.com, and more!!

You guys keep saying pressure, what fucking pressure. Here is how the conversation should go...
"Where do you see this going with us?"
"I don't have a fucking clue"
Brutal honesty is the best policy.Comment
