Fantastic banner designer - check this guy out

I want to turn you on to my banner designer. This guy is awesome. He did such a good job for me I really think I need to pimp him a little and spam his service.

You can see the banners he did for me at the link below. Keep in mind, all those banners only cost me $50.00. Including the HPA. Forgive the page - I just tossed it up.

I paid him $10 each for those.

He does mainstream as well, and not just banners - any kind of graphics.

The best thing about this guy is I only give him very general guidelines and he comes through like a champ.

The only drawback is you need to contact him through http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder...thorId=1235329, which can slow the process down. They work really well for this niche - some are somewhat basic, but people seem to love the "simple nude" theme

Not bad for the price, however, it's your content that makes them look as good as they do. He just slapped your logo on them basically.

Yes, but most designers seem to be able to push out basic banners, it's not that hard.

Now what makes him a fantastic designer?

Did you look at the two he did today? I think those are pretty damn good.

I think the overall value is "fantastic" when you think about the price, the delivery time, how good he is at communicating, and the end result. With more direction they would all look like those last two, I'm sure.

Yep. I'm not criticizing his work considering the amount you paid. But I wouldn't say he's fantastic -- the content is the sole reason they're good. He just added a couple masks and some text.. nothing special.

It's his preference. He makes his living on rent-a-coder, so I guess he wants the positive exposure. It's a double-edged sword though.. if he fucks up a project, that will show as well. But I don't think he will. He's the type to give it away free rather than have a bad mark on his record.

They're not totally bad, but they're certainly not great.

But who cares what we think, TEST em and tell us about their click-thru rates (the actual point of a banner).

It's not usually about 'pretty, tidy and fontastic' - the banners which 'work' (I'm not referring to blind links) grab the viewer visually and drive them to action. These banners don't seem to do that.

totally agreed. i see here 4 mins of work per banner (hpa was 8 mins ;)). so $10 each. counting. ~$100 per hour. damn. maybe you need more banners? will give you discount like $7 each
