we just walked around Cozumel and that was a blast, there is a bar there right after you come through what appears to be like a strip mall, you will exit into the street and on the corner is the great bar, lots of dancing lots of drinks and lots of fun, was too drunk to remember the name sorry

Palancar Reef offers the best diving. The best restaurant and club is located above Just for Men International. We're talking great Cuban jazz, great stogies and mojitos that rock. The store is about 1/2 mile down the main drag along the waterfront (the Avenida Rafael Melgar) from the cruise ship docks. The last store along the avenida ( I believe it's Los Cinco Soles) has an excellent private reserve tequila for sale
Forget the ruins unless you're into archelology. The ones on the mainland are much better. There's also a whorehouse in the middle of the island, just ask a taxi driver.

rent a moped for $20 and just cruize around the island, there are tons of little bars all along the 1 road w/ $1 beers and kick ass Pico de Gallo.. mmm, nummy.

And if you're a Guinness drinker there's only one bar you can get it at: the only Irish pub on Cozumel. They buy it from the cruize ships one day a week and it's gone 2 days later. I missed out.

We did the horseback riding trip through the mayan temples.
great horses, and if you say you 'can ride' they allow you to let loose and gallop like crazy. Well worth the $$

I might try the horseback riding, I am pretty good for an amateur, then I might actually have to bring my new cowboy hat
