1. Make sure your boots fit. There is nothng worse than ill fitting boots. PUt them on walk around for a bit. Make sure that they fit.

2. Wear clothing that will allow you to be comfortable and DRY. Don't over dress. The last thng you want is to be wet from sweating. Did I say don't over dress?

3. Take a lesson. I don't care if it is private or group but take a lesson. If you have a good instructor in the morning you will take your first blue run in the afternoon.

4. Keep you knees bent. Think of the shock absorber on a car. You can't take bumps and still have control if your legs are stiff.

5. DON'T look down at your board. You can keep your balance if you are looking down. You are going to the beautiful snow covered mountains.. LOOK AT THEM.

These are very basic tips and if you follow them I promise you you will only fall 1,000 times your first day.
