Actor Vincent Schiavelli, best known for his role in Ghost opposite
Patrick Swayze, has died.
He died of lung cancer at his home in Sicily, aged 57.
The actor appeared in more than 120 films and television shows and he was once named as one of the best character actors in the US (pic:

Schiavelli was born into an Italian-American family in Brooklyn, New York and studied acting through the Theater Program at New York University.
After he began working on the stage in the 1960s, he first appeared on film in 1971's Milos Forman's Taking Off.
His first television work came in 1972, and he went on to appear in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and snag a recurring role on Taxi.
The actor was critically-acclaimed for his role as a "subway ghost" in the hit 1990 drama Ghost and he also appeared in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Next and James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies.
He was married to actress Allyce Beasley from 1985 until their divorce in 1988. Their son Andrea was born in 1987.
He married American harpist Carol Mukhalian in 1992.
