You can check it without downloading the toolbar at www.checkpagerank.com. I consider PR's of 4 and up to be "good". 5 is great, 6 is awesome (esp. for adult)

Pr 2 and PR2 are basically worthless. PR3 is starting to be worth something, but very little. I agree, PR4 starts getting valuable and 5 is very good.
