    Warning! Glass Pots

    As my girlfriend just figured out adding tap water to a glass container full of chicken in the oven is an explossive situation.

    What a fucking mess.

    I warned her about glass pots and shit. but she bought some anyways.

    poor girl, her nerves are shot.

    All I heard from downstairs was an explosion, screaming and cries for help. I ran up as fast as I could expecting to find my son dead or something.

      My ex wife did the same thing with one of our pyrex baking dishes and I agree it made a hellufa mess in the oven.

          yeah that's what it was. A pyrex lasagna dish. She was broiling chicken in it. not a smart move but she didn't really think it would be a problem until now.

                                          Did she rinse the pot out? Nope. so possible glass in it.

                                          Garbage that meal goes.

                                          Now we have no food left . Dammit.

                                          i think she needs a break from the baby for a couple days. unfortunately I can't give it. I have work to do and no time for this. Looks like i need to give he rmother call and beg for her to come take the baby for a day or two to let my girlfriend recouperate her strength

                                                      At least there's no damage to anybody. I've never seen a glass pot "explode", but it sounds like it could have caused some nasty cuts.
