You should have started with this first, before paying for traffic. The beauty of the net is that there are tons of ways to get "links out there" without paying for hits. Just do some research. Then once you have that set up, and know what sells, buy some traffic to boost the sales. Never buy hits to a page until it has been tested as a good sale.
