    Robert Palmer - 'Addicted To Love'

    Just watched some 80's music documentary thing on Sky One.

    Never knew that this song was originally intended to be called 'Addicted to drugs'.

    He spoke about some of the lyrics in the song. After reading it all, it makes sense...

    * replace 'love' with 'drugs' *

              Addiction, in it's purest meaning, will pretty much match that song. And, yea, like others posted, it's very eerie reading those lyrics now. I was too mesmerized by the hot chicks in his videos to pay attention to the lyrics.

                              After reading those lyrics again, that's a fucking great song for addiction to anything. Not just drugs.

                              But even when I read the lyrics, I still think of those slinky babes in black, tight-fitted, short cut body armor with slick-backed hair. I think number 3 from the left was the one I wanted to bang the most, but that memory is a bit fuzzy. At this point in my life, I'd walk down the hill slowly and bang them all.

                                              Those Palmer videos were such good memories. Seeing the dude in the middle just frightened the turtle so bad, I don't think it's coming back out for days.
