I played a little bit with party poker since the switch, and I found that there was a really high number of "lucky river cards" both for and against, and that an all in before the flop almost always came out good for whoever was the dog. The bigger a dog you were, the more likely you would actually win.
I am not saying they are stacking the deck... but damn, it just turned into a dog fest.

Party Poker has always been rigged for big hands. If you play there a lot and switch to a different place, it can really fuck you up. You almost get used to the style and it's almost a different game altogether. There is a website somewhere that tested like 500,000 hands at each place and found party had a ridiculous amount of big hands over the others.
There was a thing on the news the other night with some ex-casino scammer and he says that internet poker is full of cheaters & bots, and he personally knows a lot of them. He says that any poker company that says they have stopped bots is basically full of shit.
One of the top and easiest scams is that they all work together and gang up on one game and tell each other their cards.
aico, there are plenty of plugins that look at the incoming stream of cars and actions, and can predict the actions that a given player will make based on the flow. It can determine which players are fish and which ones are good players, which over time allows the software to guide you into playing hands against weaker players while avoiding stronger players. You can run it on the same PC or even cut and paste the hands to a difference machine and have it report.
Online poker in theory isn't the worst thing in the world, but when the dealing and hand results are a little off (someone has a finger on the scale) it blos the odds out the window and makes good plays into bad and bad plays into good.
The new PP starting chip counts for S&G and tournaments also means that people are way more likely to bet wild, and that combined with really poor hands hitting and winning means that players who would normally be fish are suddenly whales, feeling all good about themselves and playing a ton.
players who use to be good are suddenly sucking, and piling tons of money into "getting it back"... PP has found a way to motivate both ends of the scale.

I absolutely love you morons. You are the best fish in existence, even better than the pair of 2's to the river crowd.
Say anything you want. Blame anything you want. On Party and every other site in existence good players win, bad players lose. Enjoy your suckiness.
You always seem to be there to crow and put it over on everyone else.
I am a pretty decent player, not the end of the world, but I can hold my own normally (and I have taken some decent money off of PP in the past). Before the software upgrade, I could make it into the money on a decent number of the tournament games I would play. Now it is pretty much a crap shoot, as the pair of 2 to the river guys are the ones turn over sets and quads, and people playing big slick with an A on the flop are getting burned off faster than brush on an LA hillside.
Since the new software came out, I got little or no traction, and I was getting whacked by players ranked below fish. Even they are saying it is pretty fucked up.
Go look at the top player rankings over there now... the best players are no longer at the top, and the numbers of players online is dropping, not increasing... all signs that shit is, well... going to shit.

That would be because several of the top players were kicked off for multiple accounts.
I just went and looked... 40k players on a friday afternoon is SUPER low, usually 60k. So either there were 10k players with 2 accounts, or, well... people are voting with their feet.
Plus you have to allow for the Empire poker people who are now on PP.
Party Poker absolutely sucks now. If you have pocket KK and go up against anyone with 67 suited, they hit the flush.
You go up against anyone who has a big slick and you have say 10 10 it's almost guaranteed that they hit their ace or king.
But what I'm most amazed about is the flush hits. There are far more of those than there used to be.
Ah well - I'm just gonna blow my last deposit and move on. Think I'll give up on poker entirely

Try Absolute Poker. I've been there for a year and a half. They sent me to the WSOP, so I guess I'll always be an AP mark.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Its really hard to say which poker rooms are good.
It really depends on what you are looking for?
If its only to make cash - Then you should look for poker fish / also highroller tables can be very lucrative. Lots of wannabe highrollers losing their 500-1000 in chips pretty fast, then suddenly starting to flame out of the blue, but i dont blame them
If its to stay alive and not lose too much, and also learn something during the process. Look for a poker room with a monthly bonus thats not impossible to achieve. For example $100 free from 1000 raked hands (every month)
Then their is rooms with excellent software + looks good / downside is, those rooms are often pretty new = small base of players. But they can still be a room of your like
The poker skin from playtech has good functionality and are used by a bunch of poker rooms + sharing poker players within the network, easy to catch a game
If you want a bonus like the $100 extra every month from completed 1000 raked hands, i can set that up for you. Thats the exclusive part of one of the poker rooms i have a deal with, but before the monthly bonus, you have a bonus of $50 as a first depositer (can be used on the table first after 250 raked hands) + $40 after 200 raked hands then $100 after 1000 raked hands. Very generous in my opinion and a good reason to stay active.
Opps, and yea party poker has become one of the elite players home. But they also offer lots of freerolls and promotions none of the other rooms can
If you are intrested in the promotion i talked about or any other good offer read the poker promotion page here
Sorry for spamming, but what can I do, cant make it more discreet than this, but it is an exclusive deal (sunpoker) for ixgames visitors the first of many to come
The update changed NOTHING in the way the cards come out. That system wasn't even touched... The only difference is the look and the amount of chips... The card shuffling and dealing algorythms are exactly the same.
And you suck if you think anything changed... No other way to say it... You are a bitchy little whiny baby cock sucking whore mongrel bitch... Stop asking for your moms nipple and learn how to play poker you sniveling cry babies!

I don't have a problem winning on PP. The swings are much bigger than on other places, but you still can win. I wasn't saying that the game cost me money or that it cost anyone money, just saying it is a different game. Play a month on PP and then switch elsewhere and see if you notice a difference.
I personally don't play on PP because it has too many bots right now. I think the new software upgrade was supposed to help with some of that though.
