Are you really this stupid? When a population of 25 million donates 10 million, it's the equivalent of a population with 295 million donating 118 million or so. Granted, that's less than the US is donating, but like i already said, it's not a fucking competition. Their contribution is still significant. By your logic, the US donation is just as insignificant when compared to Japan's donation as the Saudi donation is to the US donation. By the way, comparing per capita donations, Japan's donation is the equivalent of the US donating over 1.1 billion dollars. That's a larger percentage difference than between saudi and the US. Does that somehow mean the US donation isn't up to scratch? Or that the US donation is even more pathetic when compared to Japan's donation than the Saudi donation is to the american donation? A country with just a fraction of the US population is obviously more likely to donate just a fraction of what the US is able to. Australia for example, with a population of 20 million, is donating 60 million. Does this mean they're not pulling their weight?Originally posted by AlienQCorrection: 2 million barrels per day at 45 bucks per barrel.
And you think 10M is justifiable? Idiots.
You're a fucking idiot. I've thought so for a long time, but you have more than confirmed it with this thread.
CET: I stayed in the United Arab Emirates for about 8 or 9 months when my old man had a contract in Abu Dhabi. But we also went on the odd trip to Dubai. In both places, my mother wore regular "western" clothing. The only thing she had to do was wear long pants or a long dress and a long sleeve top. No veils. No need to wear black. But they do request that you dress moderately. It's a matter of respecting another culture's religion and customs.
I know people that have lived in Saudi, and all i can say is that you are wrong. It's very much like the UAE in terms of how they expect foreigners to act. They don't expect you to wear the traditional clothing for muslim women, but they do expect you to dress moderately. Same as in Bahrain. These are just the countries which i have either been to or personally know people that have been there.26 + 6 = 1Comment

Population size is irrelevant. Saudi Arabia has a very high GDP, not as high as the US's, but it's still pretty damn high. It's in the top 10 of the world, if I'm not mistaken. With that in mind, even if their GDP is only 1/10th of America's, they are still underfunding the disaster relief. Of course, they don't have to, but if we're going to sit here and wave dicks about who gives the most money, and point out those who give the least, Saudi Arabia is on the list of those giving the least.Originally posted by chodadogAre you really this stupid? They're not giving the least per capita. And who cares if they are giving the least? They're still contributing and they're contributing a significant amount. And by that logic, the US would be underfunding relief in comparison to Japan. Do you agree with that?Originally posted by CETPopulation size is irrelevant. Wow, Sandra! That's a VERY un-American attitude (apart from the attention whoring and allowing it be picked up by the news...). Perhaps Sandra is Japanese?

Wow, that list also makes the US look very stingy! Seems like the victims of the Tsunami pay the price of the war in Iraq. The US prefers to kill rather than to save lives. Shame on Bush...Originally posted by AlienQAnd the history of Middle Eastern Nations Continues to show what cheap fucks they are in times of disaster.

"The US government has so far pledged $350m to the victims of the tsunami, and the UK government £50m ($96m). The US has spent $148 billion on the Iraq war and the UK £6bn ($11.5bn). The war has been running for 656 days. This means that the money pledged for the tsunami disaster by the United States is the equivalent of one and a half day's spending in Iraq. The money the UK has given equates to five and a half days of our involvement in the war."

Are you seriously this fucking retarded? Let's make it a little more obvious for you becaue you were clearly brought up around high voltage power lines. Let's say that the US population was 1 billion, and the Saudi population was 10. Yup, just 10 people. The US could easily donate a billion dollars at $1 per capita. Saudi could then donate $1 million per capita and would still only be donating 10 million dollars. 10 million is a far cry from 1 billion. Does this mean they're not pulling their weight?Originally posted by AlienQI do not generally respond to retards but since ya beggin for it...

If you don't get that, then you're an idiot of the highest order.
Hey, Australia recently pledged 875 Million US dollars. That must mean every other country in the world isn't pulling it's weight. Bunch of cheap fucks that don't really care. That was sarcasm by the way. Ordinarily, i don't think i'd feel the need to point it out. I would figure it would be a given that the sarcasm would be picked up, but i'm not so sure when you're going to be reading it.26 + 6 = 1Comment

Filling things up with religious idealoque? Now there you have your friend Bush all the way...
And shame on Bush for spending each 36 hours more money to ruin Iraq than the total help he sends to help the Tsunami affected countries.
The US could take a good lesson here from other nations
